Arkansas native, Shannon Kline (aka Christi Shannon Kline),
is a New York based playwright, poet and performer who
has worked in many aspects of the entertainment industry.
She is a proud member of Actors' Equity and the Dramatists Guild.
REUNION, a full length drama in the Southern Gothic Style.
was produced as an Equity Staged Reading
at the Drilling Company Theater and performed at the
National Conference on Adoption in 2009.
Shannon is also co-Author of Presto-Change-O!, a full length
musical which was part of a reading series at
Amas Musical Theater in Manhattan in 2007.
Other writing credits include Pillars, at the Minetta Lane Theater, directed by Terrence Mann, and revue shows for Gulf Coast Hotels and Casinos.
Shannon is currently at work on a musical revue,
Tap Your Troubles Away, based on our current economic situation,
as well as a stage version of her new book,
No Child More Perfect & Other Poems,
published by Nirala Publications in 2012.
